Job Title: Digital Account Manager
Location: Tokyo
Reports To: Cloud Activation lead / JP Activation team lead
Job Summary:
The Account Manager, MFG Cloud, will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for managing and growing relationships with key digital media publishers in Japan. This role requires a proactive and independent individual who can effectively manage multiple work streams, including communication, negotiation, onboarding, campaign setup (primarily managed service), and reporting. Working closely with team and Singapore and manage Senior Account Executive based Tokyo, the Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for local publishers, ensuring seamless campaign execution and optimal performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to contribute to the success of our growing MFG Cloud business in the Japanese market.
Responsibilities:
Publisher Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key digital media publishers in Japan (e.g, Yahoo, LINE, Pubmatic, Nikkei etc).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local publishers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Onboard new publishers, ensuring they understand our requirements and processes.
Campaign Management:
- Oversee the setup and execution of digital advertising campaigns, primarily through managed service arrangements.
- Collaborate with the Senior Account Executive and other team members to develop and implement effective campaign strategies.
- Monitor campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Analyze campaign data to identify trends and insights.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the Japanese digital media landscape.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in the Japanese market.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. (Media & Advertising, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in digital media or agency environment, with proven leadership experience.
- Well versed in key platforms Google, Yahoo, Meta, LINE, DV360, TTD. Analytic platforms GA4, Adobe Analytics.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing concepts, biddable platforms, and strategies.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in business English and Japanese. Bilingual ability is a plus.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills are a plus.
