We offer core payroll, human resources management, and benefits administration.\n\nOur products include Gusto Retirement, which focuses on employer setup, employee enrollment, and ongoing contributions. We use AI to provide insights within a regulated fintech/Regtech context. We also develop payroll tax products, creating foundational tax systems for determining liabilities, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and filing for small businesses. Symmetry, a part of our company, leads the development of new AI-powered payroll tax offerings.\n\nGusto Embedded Payroll integrates payroll into partners’ products. This involves designing scalable frameworks and translating regulatory and technical constraints. We use AI for strategic data initiatives, user-facing features powered by large language models, and to scale our go-to-market processes across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations.

We offer competitive cash compensation, equity (including stock options), and performance bonuses, such as an annual variable cash bonus up to 20%. We use a Total Rewards philosophy.\n\nCompensation ranges vary by location. For example, salaries are $105,000 to $129,000 annually in Denver and most remote locations, and $127,000 to $156,000 annually in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York.\n\nWe offer hybrid work options, typically requiring 2-3 days per week in our designated offices (Denver, San Francisco, New York, Seattle), and also remote flexibility. We also support working from alternative locations, provided secure internet access is available.
