We’ve been building software for health IT, practice management, and direct primary care (DPC) since 2013. We help direct care providers deliver better, more affordable care that keeps both patients and providers happy.

Our clients are direct care organizations—primary care, urgent care, and specialty practices—that offer memberships, subscriptions, or cash pay services. These groups work directly with patients and employers, avoiding traditional insurance.

Our platform automates key tasks with several products:

• Hint Core manages membership, employer billing, and network functions.
• Hint Clinical is a modern EMR and practice management tool for smoother clinical operations and patient interactions.
• Hint Connect is our nationwide DPC network, designed to help practices grow and expand with integrated software.
• Hint Community is a platform for peer collaboration and expert discussions to encourage innovation and growth.

Beyond software, we offer resources like the DPC Launch Bootcamp for startups, our annual Hint Summit for direct care professionals, a Partner Ecosystem of vetted technologies, the DPC Playbook for starting and growing a practice, and the Employer Playbook for managing employer contracts. We’re based in San Francisco, CA.
