This is a temporary, full-time role with an anticipated duration of 3–4 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs and performance.

At Hover, we’re building technology that transforms how people visualize and interact with the physical world—and it all starts with our team. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Sourcer to help us identify and engage exceptional technical talent that will drive our mission forward. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Engineering leaders and recruiters to build high-quality candidate pipelines and strengthen our ability to hire the engineers who power Hover’s innovation.

You will contribute by

As a key member of Hover’s Recruiting Team, you will work closely with Engineering leaders and recruiters to define hiring and sourcing strategies across a range of technical roles, including Computer Vision/3D Modeling, Full-Stack Product Engineering, and Mobile. You will own outbound sourcing efforts and candidate engagement, focusing on building high-quality and diverse talent pipelines while developing strong long-term relationships with potential candidates.

You will also help strengthen Hover’s sourcing capabilities by developing scalable programs and processes that improve how we identify, engage, and nurture technical talent. This includes crafting thoughtful outreach campaigns, optimizing sourcing workflows, and leveraging recruiting tools and data to improve efficiency and results.

Through compelling storytelling, you’ll help bring Hover’s mission, culture, and technical vision to life for prospective candidates while ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to an exceptional candidate experience.

Your background includes

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Demonstrated success sourcing candidates for specialized engineering roles such as computer vision, mobile, or full-stack development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage candidates and influence stakeholders
  • Strategic and collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach to recruiting challenges
  • Strong commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience and building trusted partnerships with hiring teams
  • Experience using sourcing and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Juicebox, or similar tools
  • Passion for inclusive hiring and interest in areas such as diversity & inclusion, recruiting analytics, employer branding, or recruiting operations

Hybrid roles at Hover

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

This is a temporary, full-time role with an anticipated duration of 3–4 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs and performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60-$70 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
