Job Description
You will be working with the Manager and the Compliance Monitoring team in the delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme for the regulated businesses in Jersey (Trust and Funds business) by completing Compliance Monitoring tests to ensure that the businesses are compliant with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures and processes. This includes to ensure that clear and accurate records are maintained within the function. You will also assist the manager in identifying trends within the business, with the objective being to continuously monitor and recommend enhancements to the control framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and deliver allocated Compliance Monitoring tests of regulated businesses in a timely manner, ensuring each test is properly documented in accordance with defined standards
- Manage accurate storage of evidence and supporting documentation, and produce concise Compliance Monitoring reports for each test conducted
- Review, agree, and oversee all Compliance Monitoring action points (including timeline and risk rating) with the Head of Monitoring and Reporting and the business, whilst tracking and reporting on their status
- Provide regular progress updates to management and maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding test delivery and compliance matters
- Maintain relevant technical knowledge and CPD requirements, whilst delivering the highest level of Compliance service in line with Group Values and applicable laws, policies, and operational procedures

Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong academic background with recognised Compliance qualification and demonstrable experience in Compliance Monitoring, Internal Audit, or related regulatory function
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to Trust and Funds business within a Jersey or equivalent jurisdiction
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and monitoring capabilities with proficiency in relevant IT applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage effectively with stakeholders
- Pragmatic, solutions-driven approach with high integrity, resilience in fast-paced environments, and commitment to continuous professional development and self-improvement
