Job Description
As an Associate Manager within our Company Secretarial team, you will play a key role in overseeing corporate secretarial operations while acting as a reviewer for team deliverables. You’ll manage client relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the development of your team—while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and service delivery across your portfolio.
What you will do
- You’ll review and validate work prepared by junior team members, ensuring all deliverables meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and are ready for final approval and submission.
- You’ll ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal governance frameworks while coordinating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- You’ll manage client relationships, act as a key escalation point for complex matters, and ensure client needs are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- You’ll oversee day‑to‑day corporate secretarial operations, monitor team performance and workload, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- You’ll support board and committee activities, including preparing board packs, attending meetings for minute‑taking, managing post‑meeting actions, and reviewing corporate documentation and filings.

Qualifications
About You
- You hold a relevant degree and/or a professional qualification, and you’re committed to building expertise in corporate governance and secretarial practices.
- You bring robust experience in a similar role within the global business or financial services sector.
- You have strong hands‑on experience in corporate administration and company secretarial matters, including exposure to Trusts and Foundations.
- You have a solid understanding of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, and relevant legislation governing the Global Business sector in Mauritius.
- You are organised, proactive, and people‑focused, with the ability to manage teams, build client relationships, and deliver high‑quality work in a deadline‑driven environment.
