Job Description
As a Manager, you will drive business growth by leading and developing high‑performing teams while overseeing complex private equity fund accounting deliverables, including NAVs, financial reporting, capital activity, and investor communications. You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, monitor KPIs, balance team capacity, and drive continuous improvement across quality, productivity, and client outcomes. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives on mentoring talent and delivering results at scale.
What you’ll do
- You’ll review and approve complex financial statements, disclosures, compliance cases, and ad‑hoc deliverables for fund and corporate clients, ensuring adherence to SSAE, client agreements (SOWs, SLAs), and regulatory standards while resolving technical issues and transaction treatments through sound judgment and research.
- You’ll lead cluster client delivery by monitoring timelines, quality, capacity, and escalations; acting as first‑line escalation for delivery and CS support issues; and collaborating with Assistant Managers, SMEs, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outputs.
- You’ll oversee and enforce consistent process standards across teams, monitor data completeness and documentation, validate client requirements, approve root‑cause analyses with corrective and preventive actions, and drive resolutions through debriefs and governance discussions with Heads of Delivery and client leads.
- You’ll develop team capability by providing technical guidance and coaching, delivering structured feedback, endorsing learning and development initiatives, tracking mandatory trainings, and supporting professional growth for both technical and non‑technical competencies.
- You’ll build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and crucial conversations, support cross‑cluster escalations, ensure alignment on deliverable commitments, and act as an alternate to the Head of Delivery when business needs require leadership, client, or administrative coverage.

Qualifications
- You are a graduate of Accounting or a business-related course with 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role managing teams and conducting performance appraisals.
- You have strong experience managing service operations, client deliverables, and staff, with hands-on responsibility for reviews and operational oversight.
- You possess sound knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and GAAP across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, and Luxembourg), including preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- You have practical experience preparing and reviewing working papers, financial statements, and disclosures, with operational exposure to fund accounting services, preferably in private equity.
- You demonstrate fluency in English plus an additional foreign language, effective written and advanced verbal communication skills, intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, IF functions), and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems such as Investran or Paxus.

- Completed Certified Public Accountant/ACCA qualification, if applicable.
- Experience working in Financial Services or Shared Services office environment.
- Experience working in a multinational office environment.
- Open to travel and other secondment opportunities abroad.
- University Degree in Accountancy and other accounting-related courses
