Job Description
You will lead and execute the strategy of the UK Compliance Consulting business while contributing to the development of IQ-EQ’s global Compliance service line. You will motivate and direct the compliance consulting pods, develop strategic client relationships, and drive commercial growth. As a credible subject matter expert, you will leverage your regulatory expertise and industry network to position the business for continued expansion both in the UK and internationally.
What you will do
- You will lead and develop the UK Compliance Consulting team, directing the strategy and execution of the compliance consulting pods and managing the Principal Consultants who head them
- You will work closely with the MD and other Directors to shape business strategy, drive revenue growth, secure new business opportunities, and support the development of the global Compliance service line
- You will act as a senior technical authority, providing QA oversight, regulatory interpretation, and guidance on complex client engagements, while maintaining responsibility for key strategic client relationships
- You will build and strengthen relationships with senior internal stakeholders across Finance, HR, Commercial, and international consulting teams, acting as an ambassador for the Compliance Consulting business
- You will interpret regulatory developments, produce thought leadership, support marketing initiatives, and leverage industry relationships to create and convert business development opportunities

Qualifications
- You will have experience working within a comparable compliance consulting business or a large professional services firm
- You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of FCA regulations and the FCA Handbook
- You will bring practical experience within the financial services industry, particularly across asset management, sell side, or banking sectors
