ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Regulatory Compliance Services team in Asia offer a comprehensive range of custom regulatory compliance solutions to regulated clients including hedge funds, private equity, fund of funds, real estate, venture capital, family offices, wealth management firms, and broker/dealers. We utilize our deep expertise in compliance, legal, finance, accounting, fund administration, operations, and due diligence to support various aspects of our client’s compliance needs. Our team successfully ensures that services are executed efficiently and in accordance with industry leading practices and regulatory requirements.
Our Regulatory Compliance Services offshore team in Philipplines provides direct support to our onshore teams in Singapore and Hong Kong from maintaining documents/listings/trackers, to drafting of periodic reports, checklists, meeting minutes and other administrative tasks.
Role-Specific Accountabilities:
Oversees Regulatory Compliance Services offshore team to ensure smooth delivery of the tasks assigned by the onshore Regulatory Compliance teams, including collaborating closely with onshore stakeholders as well as offshore company-wide department / functions
Monitoring offshore team’s assigned tasks, work closely with onshore teams to ensure deliverables are in line with KPIs (timeliness and quality)
Review onshore team’s timesheet and reconcile with actual tasks and output
Responsible for offshore team’s overall management and engagement
Comfortable working in a consultive and fast-paced environment
Support the team to identify, verify, analyze, and implement process improvement opportunities
Contribute to strong working relationships within functional teams across the organization
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, law, or finance
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the areas of compliance, accounting, project management, or consulting preferably at an alternative investment manager, Big Four or sell-side institution such as a prime brokerage firm
Proven managerial track record
Demonstrate solid interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office suite of applications, including Excel, List
Strong PowerPoint skills, experience with Visio is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Exhibit high attention to detail and accuracy
Project Management Professional (“PNP”) Certification would be a plus
Comfortable with assisting senior team members with various levels of work and ad-hoc projects in a timely manner
Knowledgeable in a wide range of asset classes, financial instruments, and alternative investments not limited to hedge, private equity and credit, real estate, and infrastructure
Understanding of industry standards and best practices relating to internal controls and procedures, risk management, operational due diligence, and investment regulations
Ability to perform data analytics to streamline or automate workflow processes
