Job Description
THIS ROLE
- Support the Luxembourg-based Compliance team of the AIFM (IQ EQ Fund management (Luxembourg) S.A.) in preparing “Know Your Client” (KYC) files for both onboarding of new relationships but also for the periodic review (or refresh) of the KYC documentation and for some ad-hoc requests from the Compliance team
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Review and analyze the necessary KYC documents received to onboard new relationships clients and to perform the periodic refresh of the KYR files (based on a risk-based approach);
- Generate and manage reports on KYC files, including creating checklists to track document statuses for each relationship;
- Support implementation and maintenance of document collection procedures, including monitoring shared folders for updates;
- Conduct checks using screening tools like WorldCheck for name screening against financial sanctions lists, PEPs, and regulatory enforcement entities;
- Perform Adverse Media controls;
- Support the AIFM Luxembourg Compliance team in ad-hoc requests such as Key performance indicators, preparation of compliance reports, support in some Compliance controls from the CMP (Compliance Monitoring Plan)
- Escalate significant AML/CFT deficiencies and issues identified to the Compliance team;
- Provide support to the Compliance department for any ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders (e.g. preparation of KYC files for control purposes, screening on prospects, etc);
- Have a high level of autonomy and support other Manila team members with their questions

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Master/Bachelor in Finance or an equivalent degree
- A minimum of 4 or 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position, a professional experience in AML/KYC would be considered an added value
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg or EU regulatory environment for investment funds
- Exposure of working with third party delegates and service providers
- Fluent in English; additional language would be considered as an asset
- Self-motivated team player and strong customer relationships with clients
- High level of autonomy and proactivity
- Show managerial skills
- Solution-oriented
