Job Description
Jeeves is a groundbreaking financial operating system built for global businesses that provides corporate cards, cross-border payments, and spend management software within one unified platform. The company operates across 20+ countries including Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, across Europe, and the United States, and serves over 5,000 clients ranging from venture-backed startups to SMBs around the world. With a mission to empower businesses with more efficient and cost-effective financial solutions worldwide, Jeeves combines cutting-edge financial technology with exceptional team expertise to transform the business financial landscape. Jeeves has been recognized as one of The Information’s 50 Most Promising Startups in 2023, as well as a Y Combinator Top Company 2021-2023 and won “Fintech of the Year” at the European Fintech Awards.
Since graduating from Y Combinator in 2020, Jeeves has successfully raised over $380 million and is backed by top world-class investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, CRV, Tencent, Stanford University, Clocktower Ventures, and founders of more than 15 unicorns including David Velez (Nubank), Carlos Garcia (Kavak) and Sebastián Mejía (Rappi).
We’re hiring an AI-Native Product Manager who combines analytical rigor with a strong bias for action. This role will own the Finance Automation pillar, defining how global customers manage spend, automate expense workflows, and eliminate manual financial processes.
You will go deep into data and customer conversations to identify the highest-impact problems, build a clear case for where to invest, and move quickly from insight to shipped product. This is not a strategy-only role. While structured thinking and strong communication are essential, we’re looking for someone who can translate analysis into execution, creates prototypes as specs, partners with engineering and design, and iterates rapidly based on results.
You will lead the full product lifecycle, using AI not as a surface-level feature, but as a foundational layer to redesign financial workflows from first principles—collapsing multi-step, manual processes into seamless automated outcomes.
Because our customers operate across Latin America, the US, and Europe, we strongly prefer candidates based in Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil who understand the operational and market nuances of these regions.
Location: This role is based out of São Paulo, Brazil, and is a full-time position where it is required to come into our office at complexo JK Iguatemi (2-3 days/week). #LI-Hybrid
What you will do:
AI-Native Product Thinking
- Start from the user’s pain, not from the technology. Identify workflows where finance professionals (accountants, controllers, treasurers, AP teams, CFOs) lose hours to manual work, and determine where AI can collapse multi-step processes into zero-effort outcomes. Evaluate AI capabilities with a clear-eyed cost/benefit lens: understand latency tradeoffs, accuracy thresholds in financial data, hallucination risks, and the real cost of errors when a misclassified expense has downstream consequences for audits and reporting. Know when a well-designed rules engine beats an LLM.
- Personally prototype and evaluate AI-powered approaches—test prompts, assess model outputs, build quick proof-of-concepts—to validate whether an AI solution actually works before pulling in engineering. We want someone who is hands-on with AI tooling, not just managing an AI roadmap from a distance.
- Partner closely with engineering to move from validated concept to production with speed and pragmatism. Ship AI-powered features rapidly, with clear metrics for whether they’re actually improving user outcomes.
Insight & Analysis
- Be the team’s expert on the customer: conduct regular customer discovery interviews, synthesize qualitative feedback across markets, and extract actionable insights that shape the product direction.
- Define and track KPIs for adoption, engagement, and retention; build dashboards and analyses that diagnose problems, measure impact, and surface non-obvious opportunities.
- Triangulate quantitative data with qualitative signals—you don’t just report metrics, you investigate root causes, segment user behavior, and build the analytical case for where to invest next.
- Run structured experiments (learn-test-measure) to validate hypotheses before committing engineering resources.
- Lean into the latest AI-enabled analytics capabilities to accelerate your own insight generation—using AI as a tool in your own workflow, not just a feature you ship to customers.
Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the product strategy for Finance Automation, developing a clear, defensible point of view on where the market is heading and how Jeeves wins. Deep understanding of competitive dynamics, and business impact—structured with the rigor of a top-tier strategy framework.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential risks by staying deeply informed on industry trends, competitive moves, and emerging technologies in fintech and spend management.
Execution & Delivery
- Lead with creating AI-enabled prototypes backed by customer insights. Drive continuous product development: write clear specs, scope work tightly, and ship and iterate rapidly with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners.
- Own outcomes end-to-end—you are accountable for the success of your product area, removing blockers and driving forward even when the path is ambiguous.
- Move between the analytical and the tactical fluidly: in the same day, you might be deep in a data analysis, running a customer interview, writing a PRD, and reviewing designs pixel by pixel.
- Sweat the details: consider every edge case, every user flow, and every pixel. Maintain an uncompromising bar for quality in everything that ships.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and decisions with clarity and precision—translating complex trade-offs into narratives that align leadership, engineering, sales, and operations.
- Produce structured, high-quality written artifacts (strategy docs, business cases, post-mortems) that drive alignment and enable faster decision-making.
- Maintain open, proactive communication channels across Jeeves stakeholders; ensure the broader organization is informed, aligned, and bought in.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of management consulting at a top-tier firm (e.g., Bain, BCG, McKinsey) or product management experience in fintech, B2B SaaS with complex workflows, or multi-market operations. The combination of strategic rigor from consulting and hands-on product building experience is the ideal profile.
- Language ability (written and spoken): Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese required, trilingual a plus!
- Exceptional analytical skills: you are comfortable building models, writing SQL, digging into large datasets, and translating numbers into clear business narratives. You form your own views from data, not just summaries from others. Leveraging AI to accelerate your own analysis is expected, not optional.
- Strong qualitative research instincts: you know how to run effective customer interviews, synthesize themes across conversations, and turn insights into product decisions.
- Proven builder: a solid track record of shipping and iterating on successful products. You don’t just plan—you deliver, learn, and improve.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. You can write a crisp strategy memo, present to executives, and rally a cross-functional team around a shared vision.
- Hands-on comfort with AI tooling: you can personally test prompts, evaluate model outputs, and build quick prototypes to assess feasibility. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you need to get your hands dirty with the technology, not just discuss it in meetings.
- Based in Latin America, preferably in Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil. Willingness to work across global time zones, including up to 10% travel.
