Job description
Our Journey at Keep
At Keep, we embarked on a mission with a powerful question: Why hasn’t the banking experience caught up with the rapid pace of technology?
This continues to fuel our passion for reshaping the Canadian fintech landscape. We provide businesses with a comprehensive suite of cross-border banking services, offering everything from credit cards to deposit accounts, currency conversions, and revenue financing.
With a team of seasoned global startup veterans with successful exits, Keep is committed to leading the charge as Canada’s next-generation fintech institution. Backed by VCs in the fintech sector, we’re racing ahead, expanding our reach and impact like never before.
About the Role
Join Keep as our Partnerships Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening and growing our network of referral and channel partners. You’ll be the connector between Keep and our ecosystem of partners — ensuring they stay engaged, informed, and supported, while identifying opportunities to deepen collaboration.
If you love building relationships, staying organized, and driving results through meaningful partnerships, this role is for you. You’ll help Keep expand its reach and ensure that our partners remain an active and trusted part of our growth story.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and maintaining long-term trust.
You’re proactive — you don’t wait for things to happen; you make them happen.
You’re highly organized and comfortable tracking multiple partner interactions and pipelines at once.
You understand how to balance relationship management with data-driven follow-up and accountability.
You thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments where no two days are the same.
You can collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on partner strategies.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in partnerships, business development, or account management — ideally in fintech, SaaS, or startups.
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar) for tracking partner performance.
Experience managing referral or channel programs.
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or French) for cross-market communication.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Management
Manage and nurture existing referral and channel partners, ensuring consistent communication and engagement.
Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day partner support and updates.
Conduct regular check-ins and identify opportunities for partners to grow their engagement.
Ensure partners have the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to represent Keep effectively.
Partner Activation & Performance Tracking
Track partner performance metrics and referral outcomes to assess effectiveness.
Maintain up-to-date partner information and documentation in CRM tools.
Identify inactive or underperforming partners and create reactivation strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless referral handoffs and reporting accuracy.
Collaboration & Growth Enablement
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align on campaigns, incentives, and communications.
Surface insights and feedback from partners that can inform Keep’s product and GTM strategy.
Identify new partnership opportunities and recommend strategic additions to the program.
Operational Excellence
Maintain clear visibility into all partner activities and communications.
Create and refine templates, playbooks, and processes to streamline partner engagement.
Continuously look for ways to improve how we manage and measure partner relationships.
Why You Should Be Excited About This Role
You’ll own the relationships that power Keep’s growth.
You’ll help shape how our partners experience Keep — turning them into long-term advocates.
You’ll collaborate directly with leadership and GTM teams on initiatives that drive real business impact.
You’ll have autonomy to experiment, improve processes, and make visible contributions from day one.
Why Join Keep
Be part of a team building the next generation of business banking for SMBs across North America.
Work with experienced founders and operators who value clarity, speed, and impact.
Enjoy a remote-friendly, high-trust environment with room to take ownership.
Join a company where relationships, collaboration, and execution are the keys to success.
Why This Might Not Be a Good Fit
If you prefer roles with heavy structure and daily supervision, our autonomy might feel uncomfortable.
If you avoid ambiguity or change, you might find our fast pace challenging.
If you’re not energized by building and maintaining relationships, this may not be your zone of genius.
What’s the Interview Process Like
People Screen (30 min): Learn about your experience, motivations, and fit with Keep’s culture.
Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): Deep dive into partnership management, ownership, and collaboration.
Project (30–45 min): Discuss how you would manage and grow an existing partner portfolio.
C Level Interview (30 min): Explore cross-functional collaboration with GTM or Operations teams.
