Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, award-winning boutique creative advertising agency with a global footprint. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role— working on major international automotive campaigns alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment and culture.
The agency operates as a fully remote, hub-based team spread across the US, Latin America, and Europe, with a strong and expanding European presence. As Account Director, you will be the strategic and relational anchor of the Italy office — the go-to person for European clients, the day-to-day leader of the local team, and a key driver of business growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage senior client relationships across multiple European automotive accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted partner
Translate client briefs and goals into clear scopes, timelines, and actionable plans for internal creative, production, and social media teams
Lead the full campaign lifecycle — from initial strategy through creative development, production, and final delivery
Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to ensure all deliverables are met on time and to the highest standard
Act as the de facto head of the Milan office, setting day-to-day priorities and ensuring seamless collaboration across the global team
Manage relationships with international market teams, ensuring they receive the assets and support they need
Oversee website management, brand identity projects, and social media coordination as part of a fully integrated client offering
Manage financial and commercial processes with client purchasing teams — including submission, negotiation, and approval of financial documents
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging your network to introduce and grow agency revenue
Serve as a cultural and professional bridge between the European team and the US-based leadership
Proven experience as an Account Director at a creative advertising agency — this is a non-negotiable requirement
Fluent Italian (spoken and written) and professional-level English — both are essential
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-market international accounts with senior client stakeholders
Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering integrated campaigns end-to-end
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Willingness to work as a Partita IVA contractor (the agency’s standard engagement model for Italy-based team members)
Based in Italy, or willing to relocate — with availability for in-person client meetings in Turin as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the automotive sector (a plus, but not required)
Familiarity with or passion for multicultural and global marketing
Working knowledge of Spanish
A network of client or industry relationships in Italy or broader Europe that could support business development
Experience working at or transitioning from a larger agency into a leaner, more independent structure
Base Salary: €70,000 – €75,000 per year
Performance Incentives: Additional earnings tied to new business generation and overall office growth
Annual Leave: Unlimited PTO
Working Model: Fully remote, flexible, results-driven environment
