We are partnering with a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing and telehealth wellness organization that is revolutionizing the peptide and compound pharmacy sector. Their integrated business model encompasses pharmacies, manufacturing operations, third-party logistics, and telehealth services, positioning them for exponential growth as they pursue their billion-dollar revenue milestone.
This opportunity is perfect for a results-driven executive who excels in dynamic, high-velocity settings and possesses the pharmaceutical acumen to manage intricate regulatory requirements while simultaneously scaling multiple business divisions.
Primary Responsibilities
Growth & Expansion: Execute aggressive expansion plans including launching multiple telehealth sites, opening new pharmacies, and overseeing a manufacturing facility build-out
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with investors, attorneys, and industry partners
Executive Team Management: Lead and develop C-suite executives including CFO, Chief Legal Officer, and other senior leaders
Operational Excellence: Oversee the integration and management of 30+ brands across diverse wellness verticals (hormone replacement therapy, peptide research, concierge medicine, etc.)
Board Collaboration: Report directly to the Chairman and Board of Directors, serving as the primary liaison between executive operations and board governance
Culture Leadership: Maintain and enhance the positive, solution-oriented team culture while managing a diverse workforce
Strategic Leadership: Drive day-to-day operations across multiple business entities including pharmacies, manufacturing sites, telehealth platforms, and R&D initiatives
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth within the first 12-24 months through strategic initiatives and operational improvements
Problem Solving: Address complex, multi-faceted challenges across manufacturing, pharmacy operations, technology platforms, customer service, and sales operations
Regulatory Navigation: Ensure compliance across 503B pharmacy operations, FDA regulations, and evolving peptide industry legislation
High Energy & Work Ethic: Ability to match the intensity of a high-growth organization (this is not a maintenance role)
Growth Leadership: Proven track record of growing a company from $25M to $100M+ in revenue
Pharmacy Expertise: Deep understanding of pharmacy operations, 503B compounding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and related regulatory frameworks
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to collaborate across departments, manage up to boards, and inspire teams
Multi-Brand Experience: Experience managing multiple brands, business units, or diverse product lines simultaneously (similar to restaurant groups, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical portfolios)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments despite company size
Positive Leadership Style: Track record of leading with optimism, solution-orientation, and emotional intelligence
Desired Qualifications
- Corporate Development: Experience with M&A, strategic acquisitions, and corporate structure optimization
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with peptide therapeutics, hormone replacement therapy, or telehealth business models
- 503B Specific Experience: Direct experience working with or within a 503B compounding pharmacy environment
- Advanced Education: PhD or MBA strongly preferred
- Public Company Experience: Experience taking a company from private to public, including working with investors, understanding acquisitions, and navigating IPO processes
Base Salary: $400,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
Variable Compensation: Bonus structure and equity opportunities (to be discussed)
