We are an alternative investment manager founded in 2012, focused solely on the energy sector. Our New York office directs investment activity, and we have an in-house operations team in Denver. Since our founding, we have raised over $6.5 billion in Limited Partner commitments.

We have three main investment strategies:

• Private Investments: We target unconventional US oil and gas assets.
• Public Engagement: We invest in public energy companies to advocate for shareholder interests. We aim to promote business model reform, align executive and shareholder interests, and encourage environmental stewardship.
• Carbon Solutions: We invest in projects that reduce and offset emissions. We use our operational expertise and land aggregation to accelerate the energy transition.

We integrate sustainability into our investment strategy, operations, and industry engagement, prioritizing safety, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. Our investment philosophy is grounded in fundamental research. Some of our investments include Chestnut Carbon, Civitas Resources, 38 Degrees North, and Commonwealth LNG.
