The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.
Job Description
At KOSTAL we are running individual important BI tools. In this role we need an Senior BI backend developer who is capable to maintain the tools while provide support and guidance to the users.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Detailing the solution design in close cooperation with our solution architects.
- Creation of SAP-BW data flows, data models and CDS views.
- Extractor creation/development to SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Implementation of smaller routines in ABAP.
- Creation of programming requests for our internal development team or for external programmers.
- Steering of external consultants and/or developers.
- Participation in our S/4Hana / BW4Hana rollout project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence.
- Proven track record in the BI domain, ideally with exposure to the SAP ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of key SAP Analytics components, with at least strong experience in SAP-BW.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming is required.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Additional languages are an asset, depending on the role requirements.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating within international and virtual teams.
