La Victoria Lab

We started in 2014 as the innovation lab for the Intercorp group, a Peruvian conglomerate with businesses in finance, education, health, and retail. Our main job is to rethink and improve the future of Intercorp’s companies and their user experiences. We aim to accelerate the well-being of families across Latin America through design.

We work closely with IDEO, a design and innovation consultancy, using human-centered design and design thinking to create new products and services. Our team currently has between 11 and 50 people.

Some of our key projects include:

• Innova Schools: We created a new learning experience for primary and secondary education.
• Interbank Explora: We redesigned Interbank’s physical stores nationwide for a more comfortable user experience.
• Cineplanet Chaplin: We relaunched the movie-going experience with a format designed to highlight the shared enjoyment of cinemas.

Our core purpose is to accelerate the well-being of families in Latin America through design. This mission drives us to support and empower Intercorp’s various companies.
