About the Role

Come join us on our mission to build cultures where employees and companies thrive. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to help maintain accurate, timely, and scalable financial operations. You will own key accounting processes, support the monthly close, improve controls and documentation, and partner with cross-functional teams across the business to turn operational activity into reliable financial reporting.

This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who is highly organized, comfortable working independently within established processes, and motivated to identify practical improvements as the business grows and changes.

What You Will Do

  • Own commission and bonus accounting, including calculation review, monthly accruals, related account reconciliations, and coordination with FP&A and Payroll teams
  • Account for capitalized commissions in accordance with applicable accounting guidance, including amortization, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Own key accounting areas, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting, as applicable
  • Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with company accounting policies and US GAAP
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and operational teams to ensure complete and timely financial information
  • Assist with audit, tax, and compliance requests by preparing clear schedules and supporting documentation
  • Maintain organized accounting records, process documentation, and internal control evidence
  • Identify recurring issues or manual workarounds and recommend improvements to processes, controls, and systems
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve close workflows, reporting, and analysis, reducing manual work, increasing accuracy, and scaling the function
  • Contribute to ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as the business evolves

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting and/or high-growth company experience is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial-statement support
  • Working knowledge on building AI workflow agents is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills; experience with an ERP system such as Netsuite
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and a consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to take ownership of problems through resolution
  • Experience in a fast-growing SaaS organization is a plus
