About Lightship
Lightship was founded in 2020 by former Tesla engineers Ben Parker and Toby Kraus. We are an American company with offices in San Francisco and Broomfield, Colorado. We build electric travel trailers, bringing EV technology to the RV market.
Our main product is the AE.1, an all-electric, aerodynamic, battery-powered travel trailer. We designed it to eliminate the noise, emissions, and “range anxiety” often associated with gas RVs. The AE.1 includes TrekDrive for efficiency, CampQuiet for quiet operation, and Aero-Electric Design for durability and performance.
Our trailers are for both new and experienced RVers, and work with gas, diesel, or electric towing vehicles. Our goal is to make travel easier and destinations more enjoyable for everyone.
