Job Description
An Implementation Specialist’s job is to ensure that a company’s products or services are successfully installed, trained, tested, and troubleshooted. Works directly with clients to understand their needs and customize products to meet those needs. Collaborates with various departments in order to fulfill client needs and requirements. Conducts sales demos for potential customers and demonstrates all features that would meet the practice needs.
What you’ll do:
Supports the business strategy by forming a backlog of features for development and customer-facing teams.
Creates client-facing reports based on requested criteria.
Customization of dynamic forms, patient forms, visit notes, encounter forms and problem templates.
Set up automated appointment reminders: sms, calls and emails, to improve operational efficiency
Implement e-prescribing functionalities for medical staff to streamline the prescription process.
Daily tasks and responsibilities: Responsible for providing solutions to clients based on their inquiry.
Collaboration with finance, billing, interface and development departments.
Assist other departments, such as RCM by mailing out claims and appeals for RCM clients.
Customer facing responsibilities: Answers client calls, emails and tickets.
Conduct Sales Demos for potential customers in order to demonstrate product features and facilitate user adoption.
Conduct training for internal team as well as client training: Provider/ Admin/ Staff.
Test new features and modules, such as Patient Portal, Patient Intake and Telehealth to ensure their functionality and performance meet client expectations.
Who you are:
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience working with EMR systems, such as implementation, training, or hands-on use within a medical or healthcare environment.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, particularly when prior medical or EMR experience is limited.
You have experience with Medical Records software and are aware of a typical medical office workflow.
You are able to work under pressure and handle high stress situations such as: system outages and cyber attacks.
You are able to follow instructions and execute.
You are able to quickly grasp new information and ready to assist with urgent tasks that are not part of your daily routine.
You have the knowledge to provide workflow modifications in order to improve office efficiency and revenue for providers.
You have the knowledge of setting up e-prescribing of medications and controlled substances.
Additional Information
Travel Requirements
Willingness and ability to travel within the United States as needed, primarily to support client implementations and onsite training.
Travel may include short-term onsite engagements, typically several days to one week at a time, depending on client scope and implementation phase.
Higher travel expectations may occur during major go-lives or large client onboardings, particularly during the initial implementation period.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air and ground transportation required.
Hybrid work model with an expectation to be onsite at the office a minimum of three (3) days per week, when not traveling for client engagements.
Flexibility to adjust onsite and travel schedules based on business and client needs.

Salary range: $66,000.00 $84,000.00 (USD)
