Job Description
Every industry has a moment when technology finally catches up to the people doing the work.
We are building that moment for legal.
Neostella creates connected legal technology that brings together the data, workflows, and systems legal teams rely on every day. Our platform helps firms move faster, collaborate better, and focus on delivering better outcomes for their clients
We believe the legal industry deserves better technology. That belief drives us to challenge the status quo and build systems designed for the way modern teams actually work.
We build with courage and measure our work by the impact it creates for our customers.
Recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in the Americas for 2026, we are growing with people who want their work to matter.
If you want to build software that changes how an industry operates, you belong here. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an HR & Site Director to join our team!
Why this role matters right now:
Neostella is growing rapidly—our teams are expanding, our operations are becoming more complex, and the expectations for how we support our people are higher than ever.
As we scale, we need strong, thoughtful HR leadership to ensure our growth is sustainable, compliant, and deeply people-centered.
This role exists because we need a leader who can balance strategy with execution—someone who can build scalable HR practices while staying closely connected to employees and leaders on the ground. As the HR & Site Director, you will play a key role in shaping our culture, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring our Medellín office remains a thriving hub within our global organization.
What you’ll manage:
We’re looking for an HR & Site Director to lead the Human Resources function in Colombia while serving as the site leader for our Medellín office. You will partner closely with department heads and global leadership to align people strategies with business objectives while ensuring our HR practices support engagement, performance, and compliance.
This role requires both a big-picture mindset and a hands-on approach—building programs, guiding leaders, resolving challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike.
What you bring:
We’re looking for a people-first leader with strong judgment, empathy, and operational rigor—someone who can navigate sensitive situations, build trust across the organization, and help scale our people practices as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full HR function in Colombia, aligning people strategies with organizational goals
Serve as the site leader for the Medellín office, fostering a collaborative, high-performing workplace culture
Partner with leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, and workforce growth

Use HR metrics and insights to drive improvements in people programs and processes
Support compensation benchmarking and annual compensation review processes
Partner with leadership on career development, succession planning, and retention strategies
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus)
7+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally within a global or fast-growing organization
Demonstrated operational leadership experience, such as serving as a site leader, operational partner, or visible leader responsible for office performance and culture
Strong knowledge of Colombian labor law and HR best practices
Experience partnering with senior leaders and managing complex employee relations matters
Professional-level proficiency in spoken and written English
Experience working with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
High ethical standards and discretion in handling confidential information
Experience working with multicultural or global teams
Nice to have:
- Experience in a technology, SaaS, or professional services environment
- Experience supporting fast-growing organizations
- Experience working in hybrid or distributed team environments
