Job Description
Who We Are:
Every industry has a moment when technology finally catches up to the people doing the work.
We are building that moment for legal.
Neostella creates connected legal technology that brings together the data, workflows, and systems legal teams rely on every day.
Our platform helps firms move faster, collaborate more effectively, and focus on delivering stronger outcomes for their clients.
We believe the legal industry deserves more from its technology. That belief drives us to challenge the status quo and build systems designed for the way modern teams actually work.
We build with courage and measure our work by the impact it creates for our customers.
Recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in the Americas for 2026, we are growing with people who want their work to matter.
If you want to build software that changes how an industry operates, you belong here.
Why this role matters right now:
Neostella is scaling fast. As our product and engineering teams grow, the demand for high-quality technical talent continues to increase. Hiring is one of the most critical drivers of our success, and how we attract, engage, and hire talent directly impacts our ability to deliver for our customers.
This role exists because we need strong technical recruiters who can move with speed, maintain high standards, and create an exceptional candidate experience. The Technical Recruiter will play a key role in building our teams by identifying top talent, guiding candidates through the process, and partnering closely with hiring managers to ensure we make the right hires.
What you’ll manage:
We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who will own the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of technical roles, including Software Engineers, QA, DevOps, Product, and Data positions.
You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and team leads to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and execute sourcing strategies that bring in strong, qualified candidates. This role requires a balance of speed and quality—managing multiple open roles while ensuring each candidate has a thoughtful and professional experience.
You will be responsible for driving sourcing efforts, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our talent pipelines and contributing to employer branding efforts as we continue to grow.
What you bring:
We’re looking for proactive, detail-oriented recruiters who take ownership of their roles and thrive in fast-paced environments. You’re someone who doesn’t wait for candidates to apply—you go out and find them.
You have a strong understanding of technical roles and terminology, and you’re comfortable evaluating candidates at an early stage while partnering with hiring managers to make informed decisions. You know how to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality and are committed to delivering a positive, respectful experience for every candidate.
You bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for connecting people with the right opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, QA, DevOps, Product, Data, etc.)
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates
Proactively source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and culture fit
Send and manage technical assessments as part of the evaluation process
Pitch qualified candidates to Team Leads and hiring stakeholders
Coordinate and manage interview processes, ensuring timely communication with candidates and stakeholders
Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Provide market insights and salary benchmarking guidance to hiring managers
Ensure a positive, transparent, and respectful candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Support employer branding initiatives and long-term talent pipeline development
2–5 years of experience in Technical Recruiting (SaaS experience is a strong plus, but not required)
Strong understanding of technical terminology and software development concepts
Experience working with an ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
Proven experience sourcing both active and passive candidates — we move fast, and that means proactively finding talent
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
High level of internal drive and ownership — able to take direction and run with it independently
