We develop renewable energy and energy storage projects across the United States for both distributed generation and utility scale. We formed in 2022, spinning off from Borrego’s solar and energy storage development business, which started in 1980. With our headquarters in Lowell, MA, and additional offices in Boston, Chicago, Troy, and Oakland, we operate nationwide.

We partner with landowners, utilities, and local communities to secure, design, and permit commercial, community, and utility-scale projects. After development, we prepare these projects for sale to long-term asset owners. We’ve developed over 1 GW of clean energy across more than 300 projects.

Our services include project valuation, performance modeling, and cost estimation for solar (PV), energy storage, and wind projects. We’re also expanding our EV charging division, finding and securing strategic sites. We handle mergers and acquisitions for solar, wind, and energy storage projects, manage interconnection processes, and take care of real estate documentation like leases, options, and easements. Additionally, we work on equipment strategy and optimization, and conduct financial modeling and valuation for projects.

For compensation, we offer competitive base pay and annual bonuses. All employees receive an equity or equity-like program with immediate vesting, along with employee referral awards. We also provide a pre-tax commuter reimbursement, a $100 monthly cell phone stipend, relocation bonuses, and a company-paid public transportation option.

To support work-life balance, we have a flexible time off program and hybrid work arrangements. New parents receive paid parental leave (for both birthing and non-birthing parents) immediately upon hire. We also observe 13 paid holidays, including a monthly “No Meeting Friday.”
