New Virginia Majority

We are a political organization in Virginia with 201-500 employees. We work year-round for racial, economic, and environmental justice through political education, mass-scale voter outreach, mobilization, and leadership development.

Our focus is building power in working-class communities of color across the commonwealth. We advocate for economic justice, including a fair and equitable tax system, stronger worker protections, and a living wage. We also work to expand democracy by advocating for voting rights and fair elections.

Our activities include building networks of allies, coordinating rapid response efforts, supporting statewide immigration justice campaigns, and developing leaders through one-on-one outreach.

We envision a Virginia that is just, democratic, and environmentally sustainable.

Our efforts are guided by principles of racial, economic, and environmental justice. We aim for an economy that benefits everyone and a democratic system where all voices are heard and votes count.

We are a team of 201-500 employees. Our diverse team is led by an Executive Team and a Senior Leadership Team.

We also coordinate through various Hub Organizations dedicated to immigrant organizing in Northern Virginia, public university students across the state, Black-led organizing in Hampton Roads and Newport News, and organizing Asian communities in Northern Virginia.

Our culture emphasizes building a movement led by everyday people. We look for individuals with a deep commitment to racial and economic justice and a passion for year-round community organizing.
