So, what’s the role all about?
The Software Engineer will join a new project within NICE’s real-time Contact Center platform, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of modern cloud-based services.
This role is ideal for a solid mid-level engineer with strong foundations in C#/.NET backend development, experience building scalable applications, and exposure to modern cloud and DevOps practices.
You will work across the full stack, with a stronger emphasis on backend services, collaborating closely with a global agile team to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-performing software.
How will you make an impact?
- Design and develop backend services using modern C# and .NET (Core/6+) in a cloud environment.
- Contribute to the development of customer-facing features using Angular and JavaScript technologies.
- Build and maintain scalable solutions aligned with business and product goals.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems.
- Collaborate on CI/CD automation and deployment improvements.
- Apply secure coding practices and contribute to building reliable microservice-based architectures.
- Support the team’s adoption of AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI-enabled product capabilities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in backend or full-stack roles.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- C# and .NET (Core/6+)
- SQL databases (SQL Server or similar)
- RESTful API development
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, or IAM.
Understanding of modern development practices:
- Unit testing
- Agile methodologies
- CI/CD concepts
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
- Exposure to microservices architecture in production or enterprise environments.
- Frontend experience with Angular.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar automation tools.
- Interest or early exposure to AI-enabled development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Generative AI tools).
