About the Role:
The Senior Analyst – Data & Analytics role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support business decision-making. The role focuses on developing and implementing data models, identifying trends and patterns, and delivering actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives.
The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven solutions, leveraging advanced analytical, statistical, and problem-solving techniques. The role also contributes to data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and effective communication of insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and tell a story from large volumes of complex data using appropriate tools and data analysis techniques.
- Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, with a focus on experimentation and incremental improvements.
- Build dashboards and self-service analytical tools that enable non-analysts to explore data independently.
- Develop new dashboards and maintain existing reporting suites to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
- Support strategic planning by building analytical models to forecast different operational scenarios and assess business impact.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prepare reports, and track performance metrics.
- Undertake strategic finance and analytics projects aimed at improving overall company performance.
- Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and data troubleshooting requests as required.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics role with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end analytics initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and MS Excel; experience with MongoDB queries is a plus.
- Experience working with BI and visualization tools such as Metabase or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify trends, derive insights, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Experience in creating interactive dashboards and clear, intuitive data visualizations.
- Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- Comfortable presenting insights and findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
