Online, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder, focusing on Suboxone prescriptions and patient support.

About Ophelia

We were founded in 2020 to provide online treatment for opioid use disorder. We use an evidence-based approach, primarily prescribing Suboxone® (buprenorphine + naloxone) to help reduce opioid cravings and manage withdrawal symptoms.

Our services include online video visits with a dedicated care team and prescriptions sent to local pharmacies. We also prescribe medication for symptoms related to withdrawal during induction, as well as for depressive, anxiety, and insomnia disorders.

Our goal is to make treatment accessible, allowing patients to be seen within 1-3 days. Most patients pay less than $10 per month, as we accept many major insurance plans, including Medicaid, and offer cash pay options. We have 51-200 employees.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to provide evidence-based, universally accessible opioid addiction treatment, without the traditional structure of rehab.

Our core beliefs are:

  • A proven treatment for opioid addiction exists and is more accessible than it seems.
  • Recovery should be on the patient’s own terms.
  • Patients are the experts on their own lives.
  • We advocate for harm reduction.

We aim to make it easier for people to choose doctors over drug dealers.

Team & Culture

Our clinical team includes clinicians, nurses, care coordinators, and peers. Some of us have either experienced addiction personally or have worked closely with individuals struggling with it.

We emphasize providing care that is judgment-free, destigmatizing, private, affordable, and flexible to fit into patients’ daily lives. We are committed to providing affirming care for all identities and communities.
