Recursion

We are a clinical stage TechBio company, founded in 2013 and based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with offices in Montréal, New York, London, and the Oxford area. Our mission is to decode biology to improve lives by making drug discovery more efficient. We use our platform, the Recursion OS, to generate one of the world’s largest biological and chemical datasets. This platform applies machine learning and AI algorithms to analyze these datasets, identifying relationships across biology and chemistry. We run millions of wet lab experiments weekly and operate BioHive-2, a supercomputer built with NVIDIA, to help reduce the high failure rate of traditional drug discovery.

We have a pipeline of treatments for conditions like aggressive cancers and rare diseases, with programs from preclinical to Phase 3. These include Oncology (advanced solid tumors, B-cell malignancies, HR+ breast cancer) and Rare diseases (Familial adenomatous polyposis, Hypophosphatasia). Our dataset contains 65 petabytes of data, covering phenomics, transcriptomics, InVivomics, proteomics, ADME, and de-identified patient information. We collaborate with pharmaceutical and technology partners to speed up drug discovery.
