Business Systems Administrator, Sr. (BSA)

Job Location: Remote (India-based)

Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (US EST) / Night Shift IST

Overview

PairSoft is seeking a highly technical, innovative, and self-driven Business Systems Administrator, Sr. (BSA) to own and evolve our internal business applications ecosystem. This position goes beyond traditional system administration — it requires out-of-the-box problem solving, creative technical thinking, and the ability to independently master new tools and platforms with minimal guidance. As the primary administrator of all corporate business applications, the BSA will play a key role in optimizing system performance, ensuring integration across the enterprise stack, and driving process improvements that scale with PairSoft’s growth. This role reports directly to the Director of Corporate IT.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Serve as the primary implementer and administrator for all PairSoft business applications (e.g., Salesforce, FreshDesk, Teamwork, Asana, Zoom, Office 365, Atlassian).
  • Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products, including Sales Cloud and CPQ, while pushing the boundaries of platform capabilities.
  • Architect and deploy unconventional solutions to business challenges using available systems and integrations.
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation and end-user training content when none exists; translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning materials.
  • Manage provisioning, configuration, and deprovisioning of users across platforms.
  • Organize and optimize the corporate IT ticketing system(s) and service desk functions.
  • Participate in corporate compliance and audit efforts (e.g., SOC2).
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory of devices, software, and services.
  • Develop cross-system reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Provide Tier 1 IT assistance when required, including password resets, hardware setups, and role configurations.
  • Maintain team KPI for Internal customer service.
  • Working hours early afternoon to late evening.
  • Experience with connecting APIs and building integrations in iPaas systems (like zapier, n8n, etc)
  • Technical knowledge with integrating applications, potentially with code like python.

Responsibilities / Non-Essential Functions

  • Engage with new or unfamiliar tools and technologies as business needs evolve.
  • Occasionally perform off-hour updates to minimize disruption to end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Business systems.
  • 5+ years experience working as part of an international team.
  • Foundational understanding of iPAAS systems.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator,
  • CPQ Administrator certification as well preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce products, data models, and automation capabilities.
  • Strong technical adaptability — ability to learn new systems independently and ramp up quickly with minimal direction.
  • Highly data-driven and analytically minded; able to diagnose complex issues across systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
