We are a global alternative investment firm, founded in 2014, operating in the financial services industry. Steven A. Cohen leads the firm. As of January 1, 2026, we manage approximately $45.7 billion in assets under management (AUM) and have over 3,000 employees globally across 190+ investing teams.
We deploy several investing strategies:
- Our Fundamental Equities strategy is our largest by headcount and asset allocation. It’s a sector-aligned, multi-manager business where teams develop individual investing styles.
- Our Cubist Systematic Strategies involves numerous discrete investing teams and a centralized team that designs and implements computer-driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes.
- Our Global Macro strategy’s portfolio teams seek to generate uncorrelated returns through discretionary investments in developed and emerging markets across asset classes, including fixed income, FX, liquid credit, commodities, and derivatives.
- Our Ventures is a global multi-stage venture capital strategy.
- Our Private Credit business extends our fundamental, research-driven investment approach to private credit markets, focusing on niche opportunities across asset-based finance, real estate credit, entrepreneur credit solutions, and investment grade corporate credit.
We have offices worldwide, giving us a global perspective on markets and talent. We formally adopted the name Point72 Asset Management in April 2014 and began accepting outside capital in February 2018.
