Job Overview
Join SEEK’s AI & Platform Services team as a Business Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in driving delivery excellence and supporting cutting-edge AI initiatives. Reporting to the Program Manager, you’ll be part of a new Delivery and Operations function focused on enabling successful outcomes across AI product and platform delivery.
You’ll work closely with engineers, AI product managers, and data scientists to deliver accurate and insightful business analysis, document requirements, and identify improvement opportunities. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment across stakeholders, supporting delivery, mitigating risks, and enabling the smooth rollout of new processes or systems.
The Role
- Deliver detailed and accurate business analysis to support squad objectives and outcomes.
- Support iteration planning, track delivery progress, and contribute to reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, AI product managers, and data scientists to ensure shared understanding, alignment, and delivery against objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to SEEK’s Delivery Centre of Excellence, promoting best practices and continual improvement across initiatives.
- Support implementation, risk mitigation, and change management to ensure smooth transitions to new systems or processes.
- Your work will directly contribute to successful outcomes across AI product and platform delivery, enhancing SEEK’s ability to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.
Qualifications
So, what we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, SQL), and process modelling.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
- Understanding of change management and risk mitigation practices.
Desired Values
- Product delivery and working with cross-functional product teams.
- Online marketplace environments or customer-centric technology products.
- AI product delivery, ideally with exposure to data product delivery or analysis.
- Continuous delivery practices within complex ecosystems.
- Exposure to experimentation and product analytics approaches (not necessarily hands-on, but familiar with their application).
- A passion for supporting delivery excellence and driving high-impact outcomes.
