The Role
As a Financial Analyst at Public Group, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic sales team, responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key accounts. This role involves frequent face-to-face interactions with clients, understanding their unique business needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive business growth. Responsibilities:
• Analyze and control the performance of the company’s specific business channels
• Drive short- and long-term forecasts and budget construction
• Monitor operational costs and KPIs, identifying trends and deviations
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting data collection and validation
• Provide insightful commentary on key business indicators and performance drivers
• Support the development of ad hoc analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Partner with key stakeholders across functions to support decision-making and business growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst role
• Experience in Retail or multi-location business is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/BI tools
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Commercial, methodical and strategic concept
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple requests
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
