Our client installs and maintains EV charging stations for commercial properties. Beyond installation, ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination are key to keeping chargers running smoothly.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. No prior EV charger experience is needed — full training will be provided. This role requires a tech-savvy, proactive individual who can learn quickly, communicate effectively, and help keep our EV infrastructure operational.
Full-time, 40 Hours/Week
Fully remote, work from home
Salary: ZAR 20,000-22,000/month, commensurate with skills and experience
Availability to work during EST business hours.
Responsibilities:
Monitor EV charger statuses and identify any issues.
Communicate with property owners and drivers to assist with troubleshooting.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for on-site support.
Document issues and resolutions in the system.
Escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
3+ years of experience as a Technical Support Specialist
Tech-savvy with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage active issues efficiently
Customer service or technical support experience in IT or related field preferred
Training Provided:
- EV charger systems and operations
- Basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Coordination procedures with maintenance and property teams
