We are seeking a qualified professional, responsible for implementing and coordinating projects in the fields of thermal energy, construction, and energy transition. Join our team in Warsaw as our new Civil Engineer and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

Your new role

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable energy projects, working within a collaborative environment that includes civil, mechanical, and process engineering specialists. In your capacity as Project Manager and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for project management and client consultancy with a strong emphasis on technical development, design, and construction tasks. This position requires close cooperation with interdisciplinary colleagues at Ramboll, clients, and external partners.

Your assignments will range from minor building and construction projects to significant developments at energy production facilities, all with a central focus on sustainability and the green transition. Our client base spans Polish utility providers to international energy companies, offering exposure to the latest technologies in power generation and civil engineering.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Serving as an expert in the construction and building industry.
  • Implementing and coordinating tasks/projects within your area of expertise at various stages of advancement (including construction design, basic design, feasibility studies, tender processes for facilities such as combined heat and power plants, power plants, waste incineration plants, heating systems, and energy in industrial plants), and development projects for the transformation of the energy and district heating sector.
  • Managing tasks/projects in the field of technical consulting – ensuring timeliness, quality of execution, and controlling schedule, budget, and risks.
  • Participating in the substantive evaluation of engineering products, such as documentation, analyses, and designs.
  • Coordinating activities between project participants in the construction and building industry.
  • Developing technical solutions, recommendations, and resolving construction industry issues.
  • Obtaining subcontractor bids and supporting the team in implementing design tasks.

About you

  • University degree in building construction or architecture.
  • Unlimited design license in the structural engineering and construction field or construction management license.
  • Minimum 5 years of project experience, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, norms, and standards.
  • Experience working with technical documentation and familiarity with the design and construction process.
  • Good technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
