Job Description
Job Summary:
The Group Reporting & Financial Compliance Specialist is responsible for preparing and consolidating financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements, coordinating audits, and supporting treasury activities. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Group reporting
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting for multiple legal entities through the group reporting system (e.g., Cognos Controller or similar tools).
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and MIS reports for internal stakeholders and group management.
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
- Audit support
- Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards and group reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and ensure timely completion of external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
- Support internal audits by coordinating with internal auditors and relevant stakeholders to address audit requirements.
- Treasury activities
- Liaise with banks for administrative matters such as bank guarantees, letters of credit, KYC, and hedging arrangements.
- Follow-ups with internal stakeholders for arranging documents from UK
- Co-ordination with Business finance for expected collections and sub consultants payments
- Prepare cashflow statements and share it with Group treasury
- Update cashflow in Cognos reporting
Qualifications
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with financial consolidation and group reporting systems.
- Good understanding of audit processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA / is preferred.
- Relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and audit coordination
