We invite experienced professionals to bring their skills in highways design to play as a Senior Highways Design Engineer within Ramboll’s Highways team. This role focuses on preliminary design work and collaboration with principal engineers. You should demonstrate experience in scheme design for highways projects and exhibit strong organizational skills to assist larger projects.
Your new role as Senior Highways Design Engineer:
- Engage with national government agencies, local authorities, developers, and contractors in project design.
- Collaborate across technical disciplines and benefit from the firm’s diverse expertise.
- Enjoy hybrid working, balancing time between home and office, with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in complex highway scheme design using industry-standard software.
- Support the production and delivery of design, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Adhere to health and safety policies including CDM regulations.
- Offer technical support to colleagues and contribute to team development.
About You:
Your journey with Ramboll starts with:
- BEng Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civils 3D and/or Bentley MX/OpenRoads.
- Basic knowledge of BIM procedures and relevant systems.
- Understanding of Highways Design, DMRB, and MCHW.
