Position Title: Training Product Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

We are seeking a highly specialized Training Product Support Specialist to bridge Agile software development and end-user training for an Army Program of Record (POR).This role is responsible for translating software capabilities into effective training products, ensuring alignment with system releases, and supporting fielding across operational environments.
This position requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Translate Software into Training
Embed within Agile teams, participating in PI planning and sprint activities
Interpret software updates, enhancements, and bug fixes into training content
Partner with engineers and product owners to maintain technical accuracy
Own Training Material Sustainment
Maintain and update Technical Manuals (TMs), Training Support Packages (TSPs), and Computer-Based Training (CBT)
Ensure all materials reflect the current software baseline and operational use
Align Training to Release Cycles
Synchronize training updates with bi-annual program releases and quarterly engineering drops
Ensure training readiness ahead of fielding timelines
Execute Validation & Verification (V&V)
Plan and lead V&V events for training materials with CECOM and TRADOC
Validate usability, accuracy, and compliance of training artifacts
Support Fielding & Training Delivery
Coordinate training requirements with gaining units
Enable institutional, home-station, and collective training readiness
Support Soldier Touch Points and fielding events
Ensure Quality & Compliance
Review and approve contractor-developed materials
Enforce compliance with Army regulations and the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) / ADDIE model
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Experience & Domain Knowledge
10+ years supporting DoD acquisition programs, with focus on training development and execution
Proven experience within a Program of Record (POR) environment
Deep understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle and total fielding process
Technical & Training Integration
Experience working alongside software development teams in Agile environments
Demonstrated ability to translate technical system changes into training curriculum
Training Methodology Expertise
Strong application of ADDIE or Systems Approach to Training (SAT)
Experience developing, updating, and evaluating military training programs
Core Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Skilled at managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight
Requirements
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Willingness to travel for testing, integration, and fielding events
EVEN BETTER
Direct experience managing TSPs and TMs with CECOM and TRADOC
Familiarity with Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT)
Knowledge of Army Training and Leader Development policies
Experience with Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)
