Restaurant365 is seeking a Hybrid Data Analyst & Analytical Engineer to support the Enterprise Data team through hands-on execution of analytics, data modeling, and analytics engineering deliverables. This role is intended for an individual contributor who can independently execute defined tasks across the analytics lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on Kimble data modeling, Snowflake semantic model development through Cortex, and the creation of scalable data assets that support reporting and downstream analytics use cases.
This position is best suited for someone who is highly task-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working within a structured backlog of work. The role will focus primarily on building, enhancing, and maintaining datasets, transformations, semantic models, and reporting assets rather than driving stakeholder alignment or leading business-facing discussions.
The ideal candidate has a solid technical foundation and can contribute quickly within a modern data stack that includes Snowflake Cortex, dbt, Git, and Domo.
How you’ll add value:
Data Modeling & Semantic Layer Development
· Build, enhance, and maintain Kimble data models to support standardized project, services, and operational reporting.
· Develop and refine semantic models in Snowflake using Cortex to support governed reporting and business-ready data consumption.
· Create reusable and scalable datasets that support enterprise KPI reporting and analytics use cases.
· Define and apply consistent logic for measures, dimensions, joins, and business rules within semantic and analytical models.
· Document model structures, field definitions, and transformation logic to support maintainability and handoff.
Analytics Engineering & Data Development
· Build and maintain transformations using dbt within Snowflake.
· Develop curated data layers to support reporting, dashboarding, and analytics consumption.
· Use Git for version control and code management across modeling and transformation work.
· Perform testing, validation, and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of outputs.
· Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines, model logic, and reporting datasets.
· Optimize queries, models, and transformations for performance and scalability.
Reporting & Dashboard Support
· Build and maintain datasets used for dashboards and reporting in Domo.
· Support development of reporting assets by preparing clean, validated, and trusted data sources.
· Validate metrics and reporting outputs against defined business logic and source data.
· Execute assigned reporting and modeling tasks based on prioritized business needs and team direction.
Team Execution & Delivery
· Work from a defined backlog of tasks and deliver assigned work with accuracy and timeliness.
· Collaborate primarily within the Enterprise Data team to complete technical deliverables.
· Participate in internal team reviews, code reviews, and working sessions as needed.
· Maintain clear documentation of completed work, assumptions, and technical decisions.
· Take ownership of assigned deliverables with limited oversight once requirements are defined.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
· 3+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
· Strong working knowledge of SQL with experience building and troubleshooting analytical datasets and transformations.
· Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, and development of reporting-ready datasets.
· Experience using dbt for transformations, testing, and documentation.
· Experience with Git for version control and code collaboration.
· Experience supporting reporting and dashboarding workflows in Domo or a similar BI platform.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to execute defined technical tasks with a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to work independently within a structured delivery model and manage assigned work effectively.
Preferred
· Experience with Kimble data structures or similar professional services/project-based data models.
· Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex and semantic model development.
· Experience building governed semantic layers or reusable business-ready data models.
· Experience with data quality validation, testing, and troubleshooting in cloud data environments.
· Exposure to SaaS operational reporting, financial reporting, or product analytics.
· Experience working in modern ELT environments and supporting enterprise analytics delivery.
