The Appliances team in ReversingLabs is building top-of-the-class enterprise-focused security products. Our solutions provide users with detailed insight into various types of malware at scale, allow searching through billions of records in the largest threat intelligence database of its kind, and create alerts on millions of different events and classification transitions. We provide our customers with a rich GUI for threat analysis and powerful APIs for workflow automation.
You, as the Senior DevOps Engineer, will play a key role in architecting, automating, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure across data centers, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while influencing best practices across development, security (ITSec), and operations teams. You will be based in Croatia (hybrid or remote).
What you will do
- Create new and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments, upgrades, and rollbacks for critical services.
- Use Terraform as the primary tool for infrastructure provisioning and change management, ensuring consistency and compliance across all environments.
- Leverage advanced DevOps toolchains (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Helm, Packer, Terraform, Ansible, HashiCorp Vault, Bash, Python) to drive automation and standardization.
- Partner closely with development, QA, architecture, and ITSec teams on operational strategy, pipeline optimization, and automation roadmaps.
- Conduct code, pipeline, and architecture reviews, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and production issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing durable fixes.
- Oversee production environments with proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Design and implement dashboards and alerts using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK/Logstash to ensure real-time visibility into system health.
- Build and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Harden and administer IAM policies within AWS, including role-based access control and integration with SSO providers such as Okta.
- Maintain documentation, processes, and workflows in Jira and Confluence.
- Drive operational excellence by mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- 4–6 years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience in large-scale production environments.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) application deployment and management.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and Helm.
- Experience with Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Strong experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in systems such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Solid knowledge of Linux system administration, primarily RHEL.
- Familiarity with VMware.
- Proficiency in Bash or Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.
- Experience designing monitoring and alerting systems (ELK/Logstash, Prometheus, Grafana), with the ability to create advanced dashboards and alerts.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to technical decision-making.
