What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Data Engineer to drive the development of our cutting-edge revenue intelligence platform designed for scale-ups, providing them with comprehensive insights into their business operations.
Key responsibilities
Data platforms & pipelines. Develop templates to quickly deploy a data platform in the customer’s cloud environment (Azure, GCP, AWS) using cloud native data services ( BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, DuckDB, etc.) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDKTF).
Data modeling infrastructure. Setup and maintain infrastructure to create a comprehensive library of data models for different sources and actionable insights. Setup CI/CD, data testing, lineage, data documentation, and access control.
Product pipelines. Bring real-time data to our flagship product, defining data pipelines, APIs, working closely with our analytics engineers and full-stack engineers.
Requirements
Tech Savviness: strong experience building data pipelines and platforms across cloud environments. You are no stranger to Python, SQL (DBT), and Terraform. Experience in Typescript will also come in handy.
Leadership: you can take full ownership of implementing a customer data platform against industry best practices. You can make relevant trade-offs in cost, complexity, scalability, reliability in selecting data services and solutions.
Collaboration: you chime well with analytics engineers, business analysts, and software engineers to get things done.
