Job Description
Scale Tech is hiring an IT Support (L1) Specialist for one of our long-term clients — a growing telecom company operating in Lithuania. You’d be the first point of contact for their support operations, working within a tight-knit team of 3 alongside two experienced senior engineers.
No deep technical background needed — this role is designed to grow you. If you’re curious about IT and want real hands-on experience in a live environment, this is a solid place to start.
This role has a clear ladder — strong performers can progress to L2 and eventually L3 support, taking on more complex infrastructure and project responsibilities over time.
Working method - Hybrid
Salary range - 1700-2500 EUR/Month (gross) depending on your competences.
Hiring process - 2 interviews.
Location - Vilnius, Lithuania.
What you will do:
- Receive and triage incoming client support requests (primarily via email)
- Manage tickets end-to-end in JIRA — log, track, update, and close
- Resolve common, recurring issues at the first point of contact
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 engineers with clear context
- Build and maintain a knowledge base of standard request resolutions
- Collaborate closely with 2 senior IT support colleagues
What we are looking for:
- Basic IT knowledge — networking fundamentals, operating systems, troubleshooting
- Familiarity with MySQL (running basic queries is enough)
- Basic Python scripting (hobby-level is perfectly fine)
- Good communication skills — you will be the first face clients see
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical environment
Nice to have:
- Understanding of telephony, IP networks, or VoIP
- Any prior experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems
