We started Sonde Health in 2015 as a health technology company. We provide a voice-enabled platform that detects and monitors symptoms using AI-powered vocal biomarker technology. Our platform uses patented technology developed by our experts in audio signal processing, speech science, and machine learning.

Our technology analyzes over 4,000 vocal features to find voice changes that correspond to physical shifts related to disease symptoms. We designed the platform for user privacy, and it works on common smartphones without needing extra devices. We offer an API/SDK platform that organizations can integrate into their health programs to understand users’ mental, cognitive, and respiratory health.

Our vocal biomarkers help with various health conditions, including mental health (depression, anxiety), cognitive health (mild cognitive impairment), and respiratory health (asthma, COPD, COVID-19). The platform helps organizations with early detection, risk stratification, increased engagement, better performance, reduced burnout and turnover, and maintaining a healthy workforce.

For example, in an industrial enterprise deployment in 2025, our platform identified high-risk workers and projected a return on investment exceeding 15x through gains in productivity, safety, and workforce retention. A 2023 clinical study for mental health showed that 40% of users reported positive lifestyle and behavior changes after tracking their mental health.

We believe that physiological data plays a significant role in human health, and by focusing voice technologies on major health conditions, we can improve understanding and patient outcomes. We also know that human speech holds a lot of information for measuring health conditions through everyday devices like smartphones.
