We’re seeking an Accountant who will work on analyzing monthly financial statement accounts, executing month-end journal entries, designing business processes and providing team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment. The candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and has the ability to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.
How you will achieve success:
- Document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls; design business processes and recommend process improvements.
- Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals; execute month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership.
- Design reporting and metrics; provide analysis and interpret data to build recommendations that drive action.
- Execute tasks and provide team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department and team metrics.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field with 3 years’ experience in accounting/business/finance field preferred.
- CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP required, SQL experience a plus, skillset in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to analytical tools and ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
