About Sumo Group

We provide end-to-end development solutions for the video games and entertainment industries. We floated on the AIM in December 2017 and were acquired by Tencent in January 2022. Operating under Sumo Group, Sumo Digital was established in 2003.

Sumo Digital offers full development, co-development, and development service solutions to developers, publishers, and IP holders. We craft gaming experiences and help expand intellectual property as brand guardians, drawing on experience with names such as Disney and Marvel. We design and build games across various platforms and genres.

Our recent work includes a partnership with Digital Extremes to deliver new missions, environments, Warframes, and live-service support for Warframe. We also collaborated with The Coalition to remaster Gears of War: Reloaded, adding 4K visuals, 120 FPS, cross-play, and new features for modern platforms.

Partners include 2K, Activision Blizzard, Amazon Games, Bethesda, Digital Extremes, Mediatonic, Microsoft Studios, Miniclip, Netflix, Netherrealm, PS Studios, Relic, Rocksteady, Sega, Small Giant, The Coalition, Turn10, WB Games, XDEV External Development Studio Europe, and Xbox Game Studios.

We also offer QA services, including console game QA for end-phase submission testing and ongoing development. This covers functional, platform, and black-box testing. Our mobile QA specialists support titles through development, release, and live phases, performing functional, compatibility, and platform testing on iOS and Android, as well as regression and performance testing. The Sumo Digital Academy develops new talent, bringing skilled graduates into the games industry.
