Job Description
The Social Media Specialist supports our marketing team across Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, and Melbourne, helping bring our schools, communities, and educational philosophy to life online. You will help manage our day-to-day social media presence, create and adapt content across multiple platforms and markets, and support campaign execution across the region.
This is a hands-on, specialist-level role for someone creative, organized, and excited about building engaging social media content. You will work closely with the regional marketing team, school teams, and external partners, and bring our schools and communities to life across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Red Note / Xiaohongshu, and other relevant platforms. We are looking for someone with strong execution skills who can grow into more ownership over time.

Key responsibilities
Social media management
- Own day-to-day management of social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, Red Note / Xiaohongshu, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar across multiple markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, and Melbourne
- Adapt content for different channels, audiences, and local market needs
- Monitor social media activity, comments, messages, and engagement trends
- Support community management and ensure timely responses or escalation where needed
Content creation
- Create, edit, and publish social media content, including short-form video, reels, stories, static posts, carousels, and other formats
- Write clear, engaging captions aligned with brand voice and campaign goals
- Support photo and video capture at schools, events, workshops, open houses, and other marketing activities
- Edit basic videos and visuals for social media use
- Repurpose existing content into platform-specific formats
Design and copywriting support
- Create simple social media graphics and layouts using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms
- Support copywriting for social media, campaigns, event promotion, parent education content, and school updates
- Ensure content is visually consistent, brand-aligned, and appropriate for each platform
- Work with marketing and school teams to gather stories, photos, testimonials, and other content ideas
Campaign and marketing support
Support social media execution for open houses, parent workshops, enrollment campaigns, school launches, and other marketing initiatives
Help track performance across channels, including engagement, reach, follower growth, content performance, and lead generation where relevant
Prepare simple social media reports highlighting what is working, what is not, and what should be tested next
Support influencer, creator, and partnership-related social media work where needed
Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and content formats relevant to early childhood, education, parenting, and lifestyle audiences
1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, communications, or a related role
Experience managing or supporting social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and ideally Red Note / Xiaohongshu
A strong sense of visual storytelling and what performs well on social media
Basic design skills and video editing skills using Canva or similar tools
Strong English writing skills, with the ability to write clear and engaging captions and short-form content
Comfort working with school teams, marketing colleagues, and external vendors
Willingness to be hands-on with content gathering, editing, posting, and reporting
Interest in education, parenting, early childhood development, Montessori, or mission-driven brands
Nice to have
- Mandarin language capability, especially for Red Note / Xiaohongshu content
- Experience creating bilingual or localized content across Asian markets
- Experience with influencer or creator collaborations
- Photography or videography experience
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools
- Experience working across multiple markets or brands

Salary: PHP 44,000 - 48,500 all in
Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday
