Job Description
At TAL, this role plays a vital part in strengthening the relationships that help Australians protect what matters most. Partnering closely with financial advisers and practices, you’ll be the connection between TAL’s purpose and the advisers who bring it to life every day. Through meaningful conversations and smart use of digital technology, you’ll help advisers grow with confidence and champion TAL as a trusted partner. It’s a role that combines connection, influence and impact—supporting advisers to succeed while contributing to TAL’s mission to create brighter possibilities for our customers and communities.
In this role you will:
- Build and manage strong relationships with a panel of advisers to drive engagement, advocacy, and growth.
- Position and promote TAL’s value proposition through high‑quality product, service, and partnership support.
- Execute targeted 90‑day activity plans aligned to regional priorities and agreed growth outcomes.
- Grow adviser capability and loyalty through effective training, education, and value‑adding events.
- Identify and convert new adviser opportunities through proactive industry and dealership engagement.
- Maintain disciplined activity management and compliance to meet performance, governance, and expense standards.
Qualifications
- Bring a solid understanding of life insurance and advice frameworks, with RG146 (or willingness to maintain required accreditation).
- Communicate with confidence and credibility, building trust quickly through clear, engaging and professional conversations.
- Apply a proactive, commercially minded approach to identifying opportunities and solving adviser needs.
- Manage time and priorities effectively, working autonomously while staying aligned to broader team goals.
- Build strong relationships at pace, using resilience and adaptability in a fast‑moving sales environment.
- Act with integrity and accountability, contributing positively to team culture and TAL’s reputation with advisers and partners.
