Job Description
The Business Support Officer plays a vital role in helping TAL deliver on its purpose of protecting Australians when it matters most. By providing trusted operational and coordination support to the NSW Sales team, this role helps create seamless, confident experiences for our adviser partners and strengthens how we show up in the market. Working closely with regional leadership, the Business Support Officer enables strong governance, disciplined execution and meaningful connections—supporting TAL’s ambition to make life insurance simpler, more accessible and more human for the communities we serve.
In this role you will:
- Enable NSW sales performance through seamless administrative and coordination support across the region.
- Strengthen adviser and stakeholder experience by acting as a trusted point of contact for sales operations.
- Support high‑quality adviser engagement by coordinating meetings, events and onboarding activities.
- Drive operational discipline by maintaining accurate sales data, reporting and CRM integrity.
- Partner with the Regional Manager to support effective planning, governance and leadership reporting.
- Ensure sales activities meet governance and compliance standards while improving efficiency and experience.
Qualifications
- Brings experience in an administrative or support role, with confidence supporting a busy team.
- Is organised and reliable, able to juggle priorities while keeping work on track.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, building positive relationships with advisers and colleagues.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate, well‑presented work.
- Is comfortable using everyday tools like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and keen to learn new systems.
- Approaches work with a helpful, customer‑focused mindset and adapts positively in a fast‑paced environment.
