Job Description
The Retirement Solutions Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how TAL brings modern, meaningful retirement solutions to life. Sitting at the intersection of digital, product and partnership, this role helps translate TAL’s purpose into experiences that genuinely support Australians as they prepare for the next stage of life. By designing and evolving retirement operating models that deliver clarity, value and ease, the role enables TAL to remain market‑leading and partner of choice, making a real difference to the financial confidence and long‑term wellbeing of members and retirees.
In this role you will:
- Design and deliver scalable retirement operating models that enable market‑leading partner solutions.
- Shape seamless end‑to‑end retirement services by integrating digital, administration and registry ecosystems.
- Advance differentiated digital experiences that improve partner and member engagement while meeting governance standards.
- Partner with funds and wealth platforms to co‑create fit‑for‑purpose retirement solutions that deliver mutual value.
- Expand TAL’s retirement capability through strategic vendor partnerships and industry collaboration.
- Enable confident market adoption by clearly articulating TAL’s retirement service models in partner and tender engagements
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years’ experience in superannuation or wealth management, with a strong working understanding of retirement products and the regulatory environment.
Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end projects, using structured delivery methodologies and comfortably managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement service models and digital capabilities, including working effectively with external partners and vendors.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across business, technology, and third‑party teams to achieve shared outcomes.
Experience shaping customer journeys and digital experiences, using insight and analysis to improve member or customer outcomes.
Commercial and strategic mindset, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to support sound decision‑making.
