Job Description

Title: Senior Impact Lead

Company Overview: At Teachstone, we believe meaningful interactions drive lifelong learning. Since 2008, we’ve transformed education with the CLASS® tool, backed by research and designed to help educators spark learning through emotionally supportive, instructionally rich interactions. Now, we’re going further by infusing our products with even greater intentionality around impact.

Join a mission-driven team that’s reimagining how professional learning, content, and technology can work together to drive real-world outcomes for educators and children. At Teachstone, you’ll shape products that not only work but truly make a difference.

Role Overview: As Impact Lead, you’ll serve as a strategic partner within cross-functional product teams, helping ensure products and services are grounded in evidence, informed by educator voice, and aligned to meaningful outcomes for educators and children. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to translate research, educator insights, and data into actionable recommendations that strengthen product quality, user experience, and impact. This role requires strong judgment, systems thinking, adaptability, and the ability to influence complex cross-functional work through expertise, collaboration, and relationship-building. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows, support decision-making, strengthen educator supports, and scale insight generation while applying critical thinking around quality and impact.

Role Responsibilities

Impact Strategy & Evaluation

  • Define measurable product outcomes grounded in child development and behavior change science
  • Develop impact frameworks and support analyses that evaluate product effectiveness and inform continuous improvement
  • Monitor and synthesize engagement, implementation, feedback, and behavior change data to guide iteration and strategic recommendations
  • Support pilots, experimentation, and testing efforts and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape AI-enabled and technology-supported experiences aligned to educator needs and intended outcomes
  • Apply sound judgment to evaluate tradeoffs, implementation considerations, and impact implications across diverse user contexts
  • Contribute an educator and impact lens to roadmap discussions, prioritization, and product decisions
  • Navigate ambiguity and synthesize complex inputs to support alignment and informed decision-making

Content Leadership & Learning Expertise

  • Write, curate, and refine evidence-based content and learning experiences for educator audiences
  • Ensure content is practical, engaging, and responsive to varied educator contexts and needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in educator practice, child development, and behavior change
  • Identify emerging research, trends, and educator needs that may inform future product improvements

Educator-Centered Design & Feedback

  • Support systems and processes that elevate educator voice throughout the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate on user research, journey mapping, and solution validation efforts
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure educator needs and implementation realities remain central to decision-making

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to support evidence-informed product decisions
  • Contribute to complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams and priorities
  • Communicate complex ideas and recommendations clearly to varied audiences
  • Operate with a high level of ownership, accountability, initiative, and adaptability
  • Influence through expertise, thoughtful communication, and collaborative problem-solving

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in early childhood education, educator professional learning, impact evaluation, learning design, product strategy, or a related field
  • Strong grounding in child development, educator practice, adult learning, and/or behavior change science
  • Experience developing educator-facing content, tools, frameworks, or supports
  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative data to inform recommendations and continuous improvement
  • Strong collaboration, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Ability to manage complex workstreams independently while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated systems thinking, strategic problem-solving, and sound judgment
  • Comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to support analysis, content development, workflows, and decision-making

What We Offer

  • Fair, Competitive Pay:  We ensure equal pay for equal work, using consistent salary bands based on market benchmarks, reviewed annually. Prior salaries, negotiation skills, or fear of conflict don’t influence your pay.
  • Salary Range: $110,000–$120,000 determined by your experience
