Junior Instructional Systems Designer

Team Carney, a dynamic performance acceleration focused government partner company, is seeking a junior level Instructional Systems Designer to support a government contract.  Our Instructional Systems Designers have created both online and in person curriculum throughout the product lifecycle process, which incorporates the ADDIE methodology and 508 compliance across all divisions.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD.

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the course development, up to and including final production online or as an in-person course.
  • Assist more senior ISD’s to perform functional duties
  • Work with other course SMEs to develop the plan of instruction, course content and ensure final course product meets expectations of the SME, cadre and requirements.
  • Facilitate the course evaluation and course design effectiveness, including the Alpha/Beta test delivery phase of course development.
  • Ensure the course meets 508 compliance and all other requirements for course production.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Public Trust clearance or the willingness to undergo a background investigation process
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.
  • One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Instructional Systems Designer

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience designing curriculum for federal agencies (FEMA)

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (including high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney’s total compensation package for employees.
